Fuerza Regida & Marshmello Send ‘Harley Quinn’ to No. 1 on Latin Airplay Chart

Less than three months after its second No. 1 on Billboard’s Latin Airplay chart, Fuerza Regida finds itself in the lead again with “Harley Quinn,” the group’s first collaboration with EDM producer Marshmello, as the song climbs 5-1 on the Feb. 2-dated list.

“Harley Quinn,” released Oct. 18 via Street Mob/Rancho Humilde/Sony Music Latin, advances with a lofty 23% gain in audience impressions, to 9.1 million earned in the U.S. in the tracking week ending Jan. 25, according to Luminate.

The double-digit percentage gain sends Bad Bunny’s “Mónaco” down to No. 3 with a 16% dip in impressions, to 7.3 million.

With “Harley Quinn,” Fuerza Regida claims its third champ on the overall Latin Airplay list. The Mexican American ensemble scored its first No. 1 with its seventh chart visit, when “Bebe Dame” with Grupo Frontera jumped 2-1 in March 2023. Eight months later, “El Jefe” with Shakira arrived to rule the Nov. 18, 2023-dated tally.

EDM producer and DJ Marshmello is also not a first-time visitor to the top spot on the overall Latin radio tally. “El Merengue” with Manuel Turizo propelled the Philadelphia-born DJ to No. 1 last June, his first champ there and first foray with an all-Spanish-language tune. Further, the song earned him a first No. 1 on Tropical Airplay, with 13 weeks in charge; the longest-leading tropical song in 2023.

As “Harley Quinn” rallies, the track sends indie labels Street Mob and Rancho Humilde to its first No. 1 of 2024, after reaching No. 25 with Regida’s “Sabor a Fresa,” last October.

Further, “Harley Quinn” concurrently claims its first week at No. 1 on Regional Mexican Airplay, jumping 3-1 with the Greatest Gainer honors of the week. The track unseats Eden Muñoz ‘s “Como En Los Viejos Tiempos” from the chart’s summit, after the latter’s 1-2 dip with a 21% decline in impressions, to 5.8 million.

While Regida adds its third ruler on Regional Mexican Airplay, Marshmello enjoys his first No. 1 there.

Elsewhere, “Harley Quinn” makes progress on the multi-metric Hot Latin Songs, which blends streams, sales and airplay. The collab climbs 6-5 with a 2% gain in streaming data, to 7.8 million U.S. clicks during the same period. The song previously held at its No. 2 high during seven weeks between Nov.-Dec.
