Cowley says that to achieve this haircut on clients, she does a wet cut on the outline and then rough dries the hair and dry cuts the ends. “I add a graduation so it is solid-looking but flows.”

This graduation is often done so that the bob sits slightly shorter at the back, and gets a little bit longer near the front of the face. However, unlike the stacked bob, it does not often involve layers. 

“This style can be worn curly, straight, half up and half down,” says Cowley. “It’s very versatile and I would definitely recommend it as we go into autumn.”
