Denim For Fall? Groundbreaking—3 Fresh Ways to Wear Jeans RN

I know that fall is officially here when I’m excited to wear jeans again. Denim is such a quintessential part of my look this time of year. Girls’ night in the city? Straight-leg jeans, kitten heels, and a flirty top. Short flight? Baggy jeans, zip-up hoodie, and sneakers. My denim collection has never failed me…until now. I have plenty of pairs in my closet, but none of them meet my needs anymore. Luckily, EVEREVE (AKA the ultimate denim destination) has been on my radar for some time now.

With an impressive assortment of styles from some of my favorite brands (I’m looking at you PAIGE, Citizens of Humanity, Mother, and Agolde), I’ve already fallen hard and fast for all the chic, on-trend styles available at EVEREVE. To help with my natural indecisiveness, the brand thoughtfully curated an edit centered around the top five style trends you need this season—the wide-leg, the cuff, the black wash, the barrel leg, and the full length. I took the liberty of creating some outfit ideas for you to draw inspiration from below. If you want to see which head-to-toe looks to wear for date night, the office, or a quick errand run, just keep scrolling.

Date night calls for an effortlessly chic look. You want to look put together, but also like you didn’t need to try. I love the way square-toe flatss look under a pair of full-length jeans. This lighter wash pairs perfectly with this slightly sheer white top, creating the perfect look for an evening date. There’s nothing worse than wearing an uncomfortable pair of jeans to dinner, and luckily, these have a smidge of stretch that holds you in without making you feel like you can’t breathe. I opted for mixed-metal hoop earrings to bring out the gold in the shoes that will peek out from under the jeans as I walk. This purse can be worn as a clutch or on your wrist, tying the entire look together.

When I hear the words “business casual,” my brain automatically translates them to “corporate cool.” Building an outfit that fits into this category requires a little adherence to your office dress code and a whole lot of trend-mixing. Kick-flare style jeans are a French-girl staple that’s been making the rounds again this fall. This cropped style in the black wash is such a versatile, transitional piece to wear with all your seasonal looks. Styled with a collarless jacket with gold buttons and bright-red Mary Janes, this look is a surefire way to garner compliments from your colleagues. The all-black look with a pop of color will always appear polished, even if it didn’t take much effort to put together.

Nothing says “model-off-duty” quite like a relaxed outfit. A casual gray T-shirt and jeans is a basic outfit in theory, but a chic ensemble in practice once you add some trendier elements like classic Birkenstock clogs and an oversize jacket. As far as barrel jeans go, I like to think of them as controversial to some, and absolutely necessary to others. I tend to fall into the latter category, but I love this style that EVEREVE refers to as “barrel-ish”—it taps into that tapered, relaxed cut while still maintaining a flattering silhouette. Throw on a dainty gold necklace and suddenly you’re the most stylish person running errands in the city.
